Urmează aceste sfaturi pentru o vacanță relaxată și fără griji.

Tea is a national symbol in Sri Lanka. Visiting a tea plantation is an authentic experience, and locals often offer tea as a sign of hospitality.

Lightweight clothing made of cotton or linen is ideal for a hot and humid climate. When visiting Buddhist temples, it is mandatory to have your shoulders and knees covered and to remove your shoes at the entrance. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential.

Transportation is varied and accessible: trains offer some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and tuk-tuks are common in cities. Set the price before departure if there is no toll machine.

Drones are strictly regulated in Sri Lanka. Their use requires special permits obtained in advance from local authorities, especially near religious or military sites.

Roaming costs are high. It is recommended to purchase a local SIM card, available at the airport or in telecommunications stores, for affordable internet and calls.
