Introduction

Trip.ro is a travel agency specializing in the search and sale of airline tickets.

Trip.ro complies with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the international legislation to which the Republic of Moldova is a party.

The use of the Trip.ro platform is governed by these Terms and Conditions of Use. We recommend reading them carefully before using our services. By accessing and using the Trip.ro platform, you agree to these terms.

This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") sets the legally binding conditions for using Trip.ro services. By using Trip.ro services, you express your consent to the provisions of this Agreement, whether you are a Visitor (simply browsing the site) or a Registered User (having created an account on Trip.ro).

The content of the Trip.ro website and mobile applications, the information provided (including prices and availability of airline tickets), as well as the software and infrastructure used to transmit them, are the property of Trip.ro or its affiliates, suppliers, and partners.

Trip.ro may periodically modify this Agreement. Changes take effect from the date of publication on the site. Continued use of Trip.ro services after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. We recommend regularly checking the Agreement to stay informed of any updates.

Seat Reservations
  • Seat reservations for flights are made through Trip.ro systems, which provide access to airline databases and allow actual booking of seats for passengers.
  • Reservations are free and made before the departure date.
  • After booking, the passenger receives information about the ticket price (valid at the time of booking) and applicable conditions, restrictions, and rules.
  • Ticket conditions and prices are determined by the airline and other external factors. Trip.ro is not responsible for changes before ticket purchase.
Ticket Issuance and Payment Methods
  • Ticket issuance and payment are carried out according to the conditions imposed by the airline. The passenger must comply with payment and ticket issuance deadlines.
  • After payment and receiving the ticket, a contractual relationship between Trip.ro and the passenger is established.
  • Payment is made in Moldovan Leu (MDL) within one day from invoice issuance.
  • Transfer details will be provided by Trip.ro.
  • In case of a refund, penalties imposed by the airline apply to the passenger.
  • Trip.ro may process the refund of unpaid tickets 5 days after issuance, after prior notification of the passenger.
  • All calculations are made at the National Bank of Moldova's exchange rate on the day the ticket is issued.
Ticket Creation and Pricing
  • Ticket prices result from a complex system of fares and rules. The same flight may have different prices depending on travel conditions and the airline.
  • The price becomes fixed at the moment of ticket issuance and delivery to the passenger.
  • The passenger is obliged to inform themselves about ticket rules and restrictions before purchase. Once purchased, the passenger acknowledges being informed.
Airline Ticket
  • The ticket is the document authorizing the flight. It is issued by Trip.ro, but remains the property of the airline.
  • The information on the ticket supplements these terms. The passenger confirms that they have taken note of this information.
Rights and Obligations
  • Trip.ro is responsible for correct ticket issuance and informing the passenger about ticket conditions.
  • The passenger must arrive at the boarding gate at least 2 hours before departure.
  • Trip.ro is not responsible for:
    • Late arrival at boarding
    • Refusal of boarding due to documents or authorities
    • Flight delays or schedule changes by the airline, loss of baggage, or other related services
  • Ticket cancellation or changes are done according to airline rules. Applicable penalties are usually 100% of the ticket value, except where the airline allows more favorable conditions.
  • The ticket cannot be transferred to a third party.
  • The passenger must comply with all travel formalities (passport, visa, health, customs). Trip.ro is not responsible for denied boarding for these reasons.
  • Information provided by Trip.ro regarding travel formalities is for guidance only and is not guaranteed by the agency.
Requests and Complaints
  • Trip.ro provides procedures for resolving issues:
    • Flight data change: request M1
    • Flight cancellation: request M2
    • Problems during travel: complaint L1
    • Problems caused by the airline: complaint L2
  • Requests and complaints are accepted only in writing and are reviewed within 30 calendar days.
  • Trip.ro will forward complaints to the airline and inform the passenger of the resolution within 3 days of receiving a response.
  • Compensation, if applicable, is provided directly by the airline.
